Richard Irving is the network manager for coomunity owned clubs and the company secretary of the . The network consists of almost forty clubs across the football pyramid from AFC Wimbledon and Exeter City in the EFL to clubs at grassroots level. In 2023, he completed a PhD which looked at the financial sustainability of community owned clubs at Birkbeck, University of London. He is a supporter of community owned Lewes FC.
